Suffering from Lower Back Pain? It’s Time to Pay Attention!

Have you ever experienced a nagging pain in the back side of your abdomen after a hectic day in office, or at home? Every time you stretch or lift weight, do you feel that sharp pang in the back muscle? If yes, then beware! It could be a sign much more serious than you thought, and may very well indicate osteoporosis, spinal stenosis or muscle strain.
Often, we resort to hot water bags, balms or painkillers to get rid of backache. Almost all of us suffer from back pain at some point of time, but only a few of us actually consult a doctor for low back pain treatment.

Back pain may be caused due to vertebral disorder, like displacement of the intervertebral discs, broken ligaments or a muscle injury at the back. It can also be a symptom of medical conditions like kidney stones, disc prolapse, heart failure or osteoarthritis.

First and foremost, understand the cause of your back pain. Only then can you treat it. Here’s a list of the most common reasons why people suffer from back pain:

1. Strain in the muscle
2. Displacement of the intervertebral discs
3. Arthritis
4. Osteoporosis

You should never ignore back pain even if it occurs at infrequent intervals as it may lead to other complications as well, such as permanent change in the body posture, problem in balancing body weight, and extensive damage of the nerves.
